TYLER HOUSTON
Bearing the name of that most famous ancestor, Tyler Sam Houston was drafted in 1996 by the Atlanta Braves, and was later traded to the Chicago Cubs, where he played through the 1999 Major League season. In 2000, he signed as a free agent with the Milwaukee Brewers for a three-year stint before being traded in 2002 to the Los Angeles Dodgers for Ben Diggins and Shane Nance.
Tyler was the 1989 National Prep Player of the Year from Las Vegas, according to USA TODAY.
